Under the direction of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Tourism Studies, Professor Dr. Raed Ameer Abdullah, the Department of Tourism Studies, in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit, organized a cultural competition focusing on the historical and tourism aspects of the city of Mosul. The event was held on Sunday, April 19, 2026.<\/p>\n
The competition witnessed active participation from students of the Department of Tourism Studies, alongside students from the Department of History at the College of Basic Education. They competed in a distinguished academic atmosphere that reflected their cultural awareness and knowledge, particularly regarding the history of Mosul and its rich cultural and tourism heritage.<\/p>\n
The competition was organized by Professor Dr. Alaa Abdullah Hussein and Assistant Lecturer Huda Abdulaziz, who contributed to preparing its themes and supervising its implementation.<\/p>\n
