{"id":42369,"date":"2026-04-05T15:39:58","date_gmt":"2026-04-05T15:39:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/tourismsciences\/?p=42369"},"modified":"2026-05-02T15:45:42","modified_gmt":"2026-05-02T15:45:42","slug":"an-art-workshop-at-the-college-of-tourism-sciences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/tourismsciences\/2026\/04\/05\/an-art-workshop-at-the-college-of-tourism-sciences\/","title":{"rendered":"An Art Workshop at the College of Tourism Sciences"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"120\" data-end=\"426\">The Student Activities Division \/ Art Activities Unit at the College of Tourism Sciences organized an art workshop on Sunday, April 5, 2026, entitled <em data-start=\"270\" data-end=\"357\">\u201cThe Photographic Scene and the Plastic Artwork\u2026 Between Convergence and Difference,\u201d<\/em> with the attendance of a number of the college\u2019s staff and students.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"997\">The workshop was organized in cooperation with the Presidency of the University of Mosul \/ Department of Studies and Planning \/ Sustainable Development Unit. It was delivered by Mr. Imad Hazem Mohammed Al-Sharifi, Head of the Cultural Activities Division in the Department of Student Activities. He presented a lecture addressing the differences and intersections between photographic scenes and plastic artworks in terms of composition, lighting, and artistic meanings, in addition to highlighting the role of visual arts in expressing social and environmental issues.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1179\">The workshop aimed to develop students\u2019 artistic taste, enhance their ability to understand and analyze various visual arts, and encourage them to use art as a means of expression.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1181\" data-end=\"1369\">At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, honored Mr. Imad Al-Sharifi in appreciation of his efforts in making the workshop successful.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1687\">This workshop aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), by supporting quality learning and developing creative skills, and Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), by promoting culture and arts as fundamental pillars in building a conscious and sustainable society.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Student Activities Division \/ Art Activities Unit at the College of Tourism Sciences organized an art workshop on Sunday, April 5, 2026, entitled \u201cThe Photographic Scene and the Plastic Artwork\u2026 Between Convergence and Difference,\u201d with the attendance of a number of the college\u2019s staff and students.
