The Legal Affairs Department at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the College of Tourism Sciences, organized a scientific workshop on Monday, 18 May 2026, entitled \u201cInstitutional Integrity and Combating Corruption in the Tourism Education Sector.\u201d The workshop was held as part of activities aimed at promoting legal awareness and reinforcing the principles of transparency and integrity within educational institutions.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of institutional integrity and its role in combating corruption within educational institutions, as well as promoting a culture of commitment to laws, transparency, and professional responsibility. These efforts contribute to developing an academic environment based on justice, efficiency, and quality in the tourism education sector.<\/p>\n
The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Muthanna Waad Allah Younis, Assistant Lecturer Haneen Waleed Behnam, and Assistant Lecturer Fatima Maan Abdul Latif, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Prof. Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Prof. Dr. Zaid Mohammed Talal, in addition to the college staff members.<\/p>\n
This workshop comes in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16, which focuses on peace, justice, and strong institutions.<\/p>\n
