The Veterinary Hospital in Nineveh, in cooperation with the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine \u2013 University of Mosul, and the Nineveh Branch of the Veterinary Physicians Syndicate, organized a training course titled \u201cHow to Manage Poultry Farms and Veterinary Supervision\u201d<\/strong> from March 9 to 11, 2025.<\/p>\n

The course began with welcoming speeches delivered by the Veterinary Hospital Director and the Head of the Veterinary Physicians Syndicate, Dr. Omar Al-Hayali, who warmly greeted the esteemed lecturers, members of the Nineveh Veterinary Physicians Syndicate Council, and the participating veterinarians.<\/p>\n

Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Ghassan Saeed, Head of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, also addressed the attendees, highlighting the unit\u2019s vital role in monitoring graduates and emphasizing key aspects related to the veterinary profession and labor market requirements.<\/p>\n

The course was inaugurated with a lecture by Prof. Dr. Fanar Ablahad Ishaq on \u201cBiosecurity and Vaccination Programs against Infectious Viral Diseases in Poultry,\u201d<\/strong> stressing the importance of veterinary supervision and scientific management of poultry farms to ensure the success of poultry industry projects in Nineveh.<\/p>\n

On the third day, Assistant Lecturer Muhannad Basman Al-Husseini delivered a scientific lecture titled \u201cPathological Anatomy of Major Diseases Affecting Poultry in Nineveh,\u201d<\/strong> focusing on the most common diseases and their impact on poultry production, with special attention to diagnosis and treatment.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the course, the participating lecturers were honored with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their valuable efforts and significant contributions to the success of the training.<\/p>\n
