The College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Mosul, held the defense of a master\u2019s thesis entitled \u201cInvestigation of the Pharmacological Effects of Nimesulide in Broiler Chicks: Impact of Hydrogen Peroxide-Induced Oxidative Stress\u201d by Raghad Abbas Haseeb (Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology) on Monday, August 18, 2025.<\/p>\n

The study demonstrated the analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory efficacy of nimesulide in broiler chicks, while highlighting that oxidative stress induced by hydrogen peroxide modifies these effects and alters the drug\u2019s pharmacokinetics.<\/p>\n
