The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Mosul discussed the master’s thesis titled:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Molecular detection of enterotoxins (SEA, SEB, SEC, SEE, TSST) in Staphylococcus aureus isolated from restaurants”<\/strong><\/p>\n

This study was submitted by student Azar Salar Saber, specializing in Veterinary Public Health, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.<\/p>\n

The study aimed to isolate and identify Staphylococcus aureus bacteria from various samples collected from restaurants in different areas of Erbil Governorate, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Additionally, the study sought to detect genes encoding virulence factors and the genes responsible for toxin production. It also aimed to explore genetic relationships between the isolates in this study and those identified in different regions around the world.<\/p>\n

    The committee was distinguished by the participation of Prof. Dr. Amer Abdulhaq Abdulmawjood (Veterinary Microbiology \u2013 University of Veterinary Medicine, Hanover, Germany), who joined the full discussion remotely via electronic platforms. His virtual presence contributed to supporting the scientific journey and enhancing communication with researchers and professors from abroad.<\/p>\n

    After the student defended his thesis with scientific rigor and confidence, and following the committee\u2019s discussion, the thesis was accepted.<\/p>\n

    Congratulations to the researcher, the supervisor, the college, and the Veterinary Public Health Department on this scientific achievement. Wishing continued success to the discussion committee. This thesis defense aligns with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education.<\/p>\n
