The Sustainable Development Committee at the College of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning \/ Sustainable Development Unit, organized a workshop entitled:<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Risks of Random Disposal of Animal Waste on the Environment\u201d<\/p>\n
on Monday, 4 May 2026.<\/p>\n
The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Eman Ghanim Suleiman from the Department of Microbiology.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to:<\/p>\n
Introduce the environmental and public health risks associated with the random disposal of animal waste.<\/p>\n
Promote awareness regarding the importance of proper waste management practices.<\/p>\n
Identify safe and sustainable methods for the disposal of animal waste.<\/p>\n
This workshop forms part of a series of activities through which the College seeks to promote a culture of sustainable development, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:<\/p>\n
