However, long-acting insulin demonstrated greater effectiveness in maintaining lower Galectin-3 levels throughout the treatment period. The findings also indicated that Galectin-3 is an important biomarker in the progression of Type 1 diabetes mellitus, and that insulin therapy contributed to reducing this marker and improving the disease condition.<\/p>\n<p>Following the candidate\u2019s successful defense of his thesis with scientific competence and confidence, and after thorough discussion by the examination committee, the thesis was accepted.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to the researcher, the supervisor, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and the Department of Physiology, Biochemistry, and Pharmacology on this scientific achievement.
