A Master\u2019s thesis titled \u201cImmunohistopathological Evaluation of Bone Marrow Transplantation on Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome Experimentally Induced in Rats\u201d<\/strong> by the student Rana Nouri Khalaf<\/strong>, supervised by Asst. Prof. Ahmed Mohammed Ali Al\u2011Saydiya<\/strong>, was defended on Thursday, September 3, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Acute Lung Injury (ALI) is one of the major pathological conditions affecting the lungs. In veterinary medicine, ALI is considered a life\u2011threatening condition characterized by sudden respiratory failure, non\u2011cardiogenic pulmonary edema, and a severe inflammatory response. Bone marrow transplantation (BMT)\u2014or the use of bone\u2011marrow\u2011derived stem cells\u2014plays an important role in reducing inflammation and promoting repair of damaged tissues.<\/p>\n

    This study was designed to evaluate the impact of bone marrow transplantation in rats with experimentally induced ALI using the cecal ligation and puncture (CLP)<\/strong> method.<\/p>\n
