A Master\u2019s thesis titled \u201cDissemination of T\u2011Lymphocytes and Potential Immune\u2011Escape Mechanisms of Bovine Skin Squamous Cell Carcinoma Regarding MHC\u20111 and PD\u2011L1 Expression\u201d<\/strong> by the student Sabah Mohammed Sameen<\/strong>, supervised by Asst. Prof. Wasim Hanna Kroumi<\/strong>, was defended on Thursday, September 10, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The study investigated cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma in cattle<\/strong>, focusing on the relationship between tumor differentiation and the expression of PD\u2011L1<\/strong>, MHC\u20111<\/strong>, and CD8 cytotoxic T\u2011cells<\/strong>, as well as the mechanisms of immune evasion associated with these markers. The results showed that PD\u2011L1 expression increased markedly as tumor differentiation decreased<\/strong>, while MHC\u20111 expression and CD8 T\u2011cell numbers declined<\/strong> with poorer differentiation. The study concludes that elevated PD\u2011L1 alongside reduced MHC\u20111 and CD8 T\u2011cells<\/strong> represents a potential immune\u2011escape mechanism in this type of tumor, making these markers clinically valuable predictors of tumor behavior.<\/p>\n
