1. Title<\/strong><\/p>\n

University of Mosul Policy on the Identification and Protection of Threatened Species<\/p>\n

2. Purpose \/ Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n

This policy aims to safeguard local biodiversity and protect species at risk of extinction through their identification, monitoring, and the preservation of their natural habitats. It also seeks to minimize the negative impacts of university activities on the environment and to strengthen the University\u2019s role in raising environmental awareness while adhering to international conservation standards.<\/p>\n

3. Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

This policy applies to all university facilities, research, educational, and service-related activities at the University of Mosul. It also extends to surrounding areas potentially affected by university operations, including rivers, gardens, and nearby natural habitats.<\/p>\n

4. Principles \/ Commitments<\/strong><\/p>\n
