In harmony with the University’s message of peace, and by the occasion of obtaining the UNITWIN UNESCO chair, the University, represented by College of Arts held a conference titled ‘Education for Peace Building in Iraq,’ on November 28th-30th, 2022.The three-days conference – which involved many activities like seminars, open conversations, personal experience narrations, theatrical performances, and folklore and other songs played by the Mosulli Heritage Band – aimed at announcing the chair and expressing its purport, i.e. preventing violent extremism and supporting the culture for peace.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
