On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the College of Tourism Sciences held a scientific workshop titled \u201cPromoting Scientific Research Publication in Scopus-indexed Journals.\u201d The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Rasha Khalid Sabri and Mr. Hassan Basil Yousif from the Scientific Affairs Department at the University Presidency. The event was attended by the Dean of the College and several faculty members.<\/p>\n

The workshop highlighted the importance of publishing scientific research in Scopus-indexed journals, as they serve as a benchmark for assessing the quality of academic work. It also included discussions on the mechanisms and procedures to encourage researchers to engage in academic publishing, offering guidance on selecting appropriate journals and navigating the publication process.<\/p>\n
