The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings for 2024 have been announced, featuring 1,477 universities from 95 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n
The ranking evaluates universities based on key criteria, including campus environment and infrastructure (15%), energy and climate change (21%), waste management (18%), optimal water use (10%), education and academic programs (18%), and transportation within the campus (18%).<\/p>\n
According to the official ranking website (https:\/\/greenmetric.ui.ac.id\/rankings\/overall-rankings-2024), seventy-eight Iraqi universities achieved positive competitive rankings. The University of Babylon ranked 119th globally, followed by universities such as Anbar, Al-Mustaqbal, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Baghdad, Karbala, Basrah, Al-Kafeel, Northern Technical University, the Islamic University, Somer, Warith Al-Anbiyaa, Al-Mustansiriyah, and others among Iraq\u2019s public and private universities.<\/p>\n
