The Department of Student Activities at the University of Mosul organized a scientific symposium titled \u201cThe Role of Student Activities in Empowering People of Determination to Face Challenges\u201d on Thursday, December 19, 2024. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha Al-Badrani, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs.<\/p>\n

The symposium featured lectures by:<\/p>\n

Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sabah Jassim<\/p>\n

Assistant Prof. Dr. Muqdad Tariq Hamed<\/p>\n

Dr. Mohammed Qaidar Mohammed Saleh<\/p>\n

The event included three key lectures discussing:<\/p>\n

1. The importance of engaging in sports, artistic, and cultural activities for university students of determination.<\/p>\n

2. The relationship between motor learning levels and physical or sensory disabilities among individuals of determination.<\/p>\n

3. Empowering people of determination to actively participate in sports activities.<\/p>\n

The symposium emphasized the vital role student activities play in enhancing the abilities of individuals with special needs and fostering their inclusion in university\u00a0life.<\/p>\n
