The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, announced that Iraqi universities have successfully attracted and admitted over 3,000 international students in the past two years as part of the Study in Iraq program.<\/p>\n
In his speech at the graduation ceremony of the University of Anbar, attended by the Minister of Industry, the Governor of Anbar, the Chief of Police, the Head of the Academics Syndicate, several parliamentarians, and university presidents, Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted the significance of the 34th cohort\u2019s graduation. The ceremony coincided with the 37th anniversary of the university\u2019s founding, offering a fitting occasion to celebrate the achievements of the university\u2019s administration in pursuing excellence and fulfilling its mission to educate future generations, adapt to global advancements, and adhere to institutional and programmatic accreditation standards.<\/p>\n
The minister emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education has elevated the performance of its institutions over the past two years, achieving tangible progress that has enhanced their global competitiveness and academic outcomes.<\/p>\n
Dr. Al-Aboudi reaffirmed the ministry\u2019s commitment to advancing the educational environment across all domains, modernizing assessment procedures, automating processes, strengthening scientific publishing achievements, and refining academic plans, programs, and curricula in alignment with emerging academic knowledge and scientific developments.<\/p>\n
