The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, welcomed the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Ms. Janet Alberda, to discuss fields of scientific and academic collaboration between the universities of both countries.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, the minister outlined the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education\u2019s policy of internationalizing academic frameworks, fostering interaction with influential global institutions, and creating opportunities for joint scientific projects. He highlighted the ministry\u2019s success in launching the Study in Iraq program, which has attracted more than 3,000 international students across various academic disciplines.<\/p>\n
For her part, Ambassador Janet Alberda expressed her country\u2019s interest in coordinating with Iraqi universities, strengthening cooperation channels, formalizing memorandums of understanding, and creating a conducive environment for joint research. She extended an official invitation to Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi to visit the Netherlands and its academic institutions to further frame academic relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n
