Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received a delegation from the General Directorate for Combating Intellectual Terrorism in Nineveh, headed by Sheikh Rami Al-Abadi. The meeting coincided with the conclusion of the Directorate’s awareness and cultural program, “Be Aware”, which aimed to raise awareness among university students and promote a culture of dialogue and positive thinking.<\/p>\n

The University President praised the importance of such programs, which contribute to increasing students’ awareness and intellectual resilience. He emphasized the University’s commitment to supporting initiatives that provide a positive environment on campus.<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that the “Be Aware” program included 22 awareness lectures held in 22 colleges within the University, reaching 2,315 students. The lectures focused on combating extremist ideologies and promoting societal values aimed at protecting youth from destructive thoughts and guiding them toward building a bright and stable future.<\/p>\n
