The University of Mosul participated in the launching ceremony of the third edition of the \u201cStudy in Iraq\u201d program, held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, in the presence of a number of university presidents, representatives of international organizations, diplomatic delegations and the UNESCO office in Iraq.<\/p>\n
The university was represented at the ceremony by Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Radwan Mohammed Abdullah, head of the Studies Unit for Arab and Foreign Students, and a number of international students who are studying under the \u201cStudy in Iraq\u201d program at the University of Mosul.<\/p>\n
In its third edition, the program aims to provide more than 16,000 scholarships to international students in Iraqi universities, expand the range of disciplines and academic opportunities, and launch qualitative initiatives, including the establishment of an international students’ association and the adoption of April 30 as an official day for international\u00a0students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
