Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, closely monitored the rehabilitation process. On Sunday, August 10, 2025, he met with Assistant Professor Dr. Alia Abdulaziz, Head of the Oncology Department and representative of the Research Centers\u2019 Board of Directors, along with a delegation from Al-Etqan Trading Agencies Co. Ltd., the supervising and implementing entity for the project.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ibrahimi was briefed on the work stages, which included fulfilling the device\u2019s technical requirements, bringing in specialized expertise, conducting training programs for staff in Baghdad, and providing on-site training at the University. Discussions also addressed the possibility of appointing a medical physicist to accompany the oncology team during the initial operation phase.<\/p>\n
