On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, conducted a new field tour across several university departments to monitor the ongoing reconstruction projects and enhance the work environment.
\nThe tour began with a visit to the Remote Sensing Center, where the president reviewed the center’s operational status and discussed ways to develop its research and scientific environment. The tour also included a visit to the Assyrian Library, to inspect the ongoing reconstruction work as part of its rehabilitation project, emphasizing the university’s commitment to restoring the library\u2019s position as a distinguished scientific and cultural landmark.
\nAssistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamid, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Basel Khalaf Hamood, Head of the Nineveh Branch of the Academics Union accompanied the President of the University during the tour.
