Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and with the support of Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jasim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs, the Human Rights Unit at the university presidency, in collaboration with the High Commission for Human Rights \/ Nineveh Office, organized a specialized training course titled:
\n“Integrated Roles of Human Rights Unit Leaders at the University of Mosul.” The course began on Sunday, October 5, 2025.<\/p>\n
The course was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hasan Hamed, the Assistant of the President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mustafa, Dean of the College of Law at the University of Al-Noor, and the Human Rights Unit leaders from the university\u2019s colleges and centers.<\/p>\n
The opening session began with a speech by Dr. Saeed Khadida Al-Sanjari, Head of the Human Rights Unit at the University of Mosul, followed by a speech from Mr. Yasser Dhiaa Saeed, Director of the High Commission for Human Rights in Nineveh. The first lecture, delivered by Dr. Nagham Lukman Mohammed, addressed the general framework of the roles of Human Rights Units and institutional coordination mechanisms in promoting the culture of rights and freedoms.<\/p>\n
This course is part of the University of Mosul\u2019s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of human rights culture and activate the role of university units in reinforcing the values of justice and human dignity, in line with the university’s vision of creating an academic environment based on fairness and active\u00a0citizenship.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
