As part of initiatives launched by Mosul University\u2019s Presidency to promote a sustainable university environment, the Women’s Affairs Unit organized a wide-scale tree planting campaign on Monday, October 27, 2025, under the initiative “Ghiras Al-Rahma” (Trees of Mercy). The goal of the campaign was to expand green spaces and enhance the aesthetic scene within the university campus.<\/p>\n
The campaign was executed under the supervision of the Agricultural Unit in the Administrative Affairs Department, in collaboration with the Media and Governmental Communications Department. Dr. Afra’a Riyadh Mohammed, Head of the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit, participated in the initiative, alongside staff members from the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit and other university employees. The event involved planting a variety of saplings in different locations across the university, supporting efforts in afforestation and environmental improvement.<\/p>\n
