As part of the \u201cGhiras Al-Rahma\u201d initiative launched by the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the College of Veterinary Medicine continued its efforts to promote a sustainable university environment. On Sunday, November 9, 2025, the college carried out a wide tree-planting campaign around the Laboratory Animal House building, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Sivan Saad Al-Mahmoud, Dean of the College, with the participation of a number of faculty members, staff, and students.<\/p>\n
The campaign was organized in cooperation with the Agricultural Division and the Department of Media and Government Communication at the University Presidency, reaffirming the university\u2019s commitment to environmental responsibility and its ongoing pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals through practical projects and activities that strengthen the concept of a green university.<\/p>\n
The initiative aims to expand green spaces within the university campus, improve the quality of university life, and enhance environmental awareness among university staff and students.
