On Thursday, November 20, 2025, Mosul University, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, received a recognition award for its participation in the national scientific conference titled \u201cThe Role of Educational Institutions in Reducing Drug Abuse,\u201d organized by the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
\nThe award was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Ghanem, Director of the University Counseling and Psychological Guidance Department, to the President of the University, in the presence of Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jasim, Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs. This award was in recognition of the department’s active participation in the conference.
\nIn his remarks, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi praised the efforts of the University Counseling and Psychological Guidance Department, commending their outstanding participation, which reflected the university’s strong academic presence in this important national event.
