The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul organized a scientific workshop on Thursday, 27 November 2025, titled \u201cMusic and Its Influence on Practicing Sports Games,\u201d with the participation of faculty members and students interested in sports psychology and performance development.<\/p>\n
The workshop explored the psychological dimension of music and its role in motivating athletes and enhancing both their physical and mental performance. It highlighted how musical rhythm can improve focus, endurance, and intrinsic motivation during training sessions. The discussions also addressed the use of music as a preparatory and regulatory tool before and during athletic activity, given its direct impact on an athlete\u2019s mood and motor response.<\/p>\n
