A delegation from the Media and Government Communication Department at the University of Mosul paid a visit to the headquarters of the Iraqi Journalists\u2019 Syndicate \u2013 Nineveh Branch to discuss avenues for joint cooperation and to facilitate media coverage by journalists within the university.<\/p>\n
The visit came within the framework of the University Presidency\u2019s vision to enhance institutional openness and communication with media organizations, and on the occasion of the new administrative board of the Syndicate assuming its duties. During the meeting, views were exchanged on ways to overcome obstacles that journalists may face and to streamline working procedures in line with professional requirements.<\/p>\n
Both sides also discussed ways to develop relations between academic institutions and the Journalists\u2019 Syndicate, and to open new horizons for joint cooperation that would support university media and employ it effectively in serving the public interest in Nineveh Governorate.<\/p>\n
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the continuation of cooperation between the Media and Government Communication Department and media outlets, contributing to the achievement of the university\u2019s academic and societal objectives.<\/p>\n
