Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, chaired the tenth meeting of the council on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, with the full attendance of the council members.<\/p>\n
The agenda included several important topics, with the following key points:<\/p>\n
* The scientific promotions for a number of professors and the reorganization of the scientific promotion committees.<\/p>\n
* On the topic of establishing new scientific departments, discussions were held regarding the creation of new departments with modern and advanced specializations in some colleges.<\/p>\n
* Regarding postgraduate studies, the session addressed extending the study period for some students and updating some postgraduate curricula in certain university colleges.<\/p>\n
* The session also included discussions on postponing the studies of some undergraduate students and the issue of reinstating students with revoked registrations.<\/p>\n
* Tuition fee reductions were discussed in accordance with the instructions received.<\/p>\n
* The extension of service for some faculty members and the topic of the external examiner were also reviewed.<\/p>\n
