The Department of Science and Technology Parks at the Presidency of the University of Mosul held a meeting with the students who won the Artificial Intelligence Hackathon competition, which was organized on the sidelines of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities at the University of Mosul.<\/p>\n
The competition witnessed the participation of seven student teams, each consisting of five contestants. The submitted projects addressed a key issue: developing solutions for transportation within the university campus to facilitate student mobility and organize transportation methods inside the University of Mosul.<\/p>\n
The competition also included the participation of students from the \u201cStudy in Iraq\u201d program, representing 10% of the total participants, reflecting the university\u2019s openness to supporting international students and enhancing their involvement in innovative activities.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, proposed mechanisms for implementing the winning solutions within the campus were discussed, with emphasis on linking them through accessible and user-friendly computer applications for all users. These solutions will rely on artificial intelligence technologies to improve campus transportation efficiency and provide smart services for students.<\/p>\n
