Scientific Visit by PhD Students to the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Researches , University of Mosul.

   The Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Researches at the University of Mosul hosted a scientific delegation of PhD students from the Field Crops Department on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. This visit was organized to enhance academic cooperation and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

   The delegation was received by Assist. Lecturer Nawaf Jasim Mohammed (a faculty member at the Center), who provided a detailed explanation of the Center’s nature of work and its research objectives, highlighting its crucial role in developing dryland and conservation agriculture techniques.

   Mr. Mohammed also led the students on a field tour that included the Center’s laboratories and available machinery, offering them a direct opportunity to observe the scientific and applied capabilities provided by the Center.

  This visit aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education), by ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities, as well as SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), which focuses on strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development. This reflects the Center’s commitment to supporting the educational and research process through cooperation with academic institutions.
