In Recognition of an Uninterrupted Legacy of Giving… The Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research at the University of Mosul Honors Its Founder, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Ismeer Al-Rajabo.

In appreciation of a distinguished academic career marked by dedication and achievement, the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research at the University of Mosul held a major ceremonial event filled with gratitude and appreciation to honor its founder and one of its scientific pillars, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Ismeer Al-Rajabo, on the occasion of his retirement after many years of outstanding academic and research service.
During the ceremony, the Director of the Center, Professor Dr. Mohammed Subhi Al-Tawil, delivered a speech in which he reviewed the historical milestones of the Center’s establishment and scientific development since its inception under the leadership of Professor Dr. Al-Rajabo. He emphasized that Dr. Al-Rajabo’s scientific and administrative contributions will remain firmly rooted and serve as a guiding beacon for future generations of researchers, noting that retirement does not signify the end of giving, but rather a transition to a new phase of expertise and scientific consultation.
For his part, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Ismeer Al-Rajabo expressed his sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the University of Mosul and the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research. He affirmed his pride in the Center’s distinguished scientific and research standing and extended his best wishes to his colleagues from the research, engineering, and administrative staff, encouraging them to continue their dedication in serving scientific research and achieving sustainable food security.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Director of the Center presented the Center’s commemorative shield and honorary gifts to Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Ismeer Al-Rajabo, in recognition of his exceptional efforts and unwavering dedication in serving the University of Mosul and Nineveh Governorate.
