Community service

The Arid and Conservation Agriculture Research Center strives to promote social responsibility and provide social services with a profound humanitarian dimension based on a set of ethical standards in line with academic norms and traditions. This is to strengthen the bonds of trust and cooperation between the Center and the local community, build bridges of cooperation between the Center’s various departments and governmental and non-governmental sectors, and adopt cultural, scientific, and sports activities that strengthen the Center’s base in society. It also disseminates knowledge and science through lectures and seminars that raise society to a level that enables its members to adapt to their society, and holds seminars, symposia, and conferences to update their knowledge in specialized journals. It also provides services through volunteer work in governmental and non-governmental institutions, as well as supporting people with disabilities and special needs through financial and incentive support.
