The Department of Translation at the College of Arts held a PhD dissertation defense on “The Application of Iceberg Theory to the Translation of Stable and Dynamic Elements in English Literary Texts into Arabic” on Thursday, May 8, 2025. The session was attended in part by Professor Dr. Hatim Fahd Hano, Dean of the College, Dr. Hala Khalid Najm, Head of the Department, and several faculty members.
