Computer Center Organize a Workshop to Launch the Vehicle Entry Badge and Card Issuance System at the University of Mosul
In Line with the University of Mosul’s Commitment to Enhancing Administrative Services and Advancing Digital Transformation, the Computer Center Organizes a Workshop on the Launch of the Vehicle Entry Badge and Card Issuance System
In alignment with the University of Mosul’s strategic direction to enhance administrative services and promote digital transformation, the Computer Center organized a two-day specialized workshop (August 10–11, 2025) aimed at preparing for the launch of the vehicle entry badge and card issuance system for campus access.
The system was designed and developed by the Systems and Software Division of the Computer Center, in collaboration with the Follow-Up Department at the University Presidency, which provided the development team with the technical requirements and operational guidelines essential for the system’s functionality.
The workshop officially opened on Sunday, August 10, 2025, with the attendance of the Director of the Computer Center, the Head of the Follow-Up Department, its staff members, and supervisors from various university departments. Assistant Chief Programmer Mr. Laith Jasem Mohammed, the lead instructor of the workshop, delivered a detailed presentation outlining the system’s core functionalities. These include receiving and processing badge and card issuance requests for different categories of vehicles, managing applications, tracking attached reports, and coordinating the review and approval processes. The presentation was supported by contributions from Assistant Programmer Mr. Mohammed Nawfal Abdulrahman and Lecturer Ms. Ansam Osama Abdulmajeed.
The workshop featured extensive discussions with the Follow-Up Department’s staff and supervisors regarding administrative procedures and strategies for optimizing workflow efficiency.
The workshop is scheduled to conclude on Monday, August 11, 2025, with a practical training session targeting badge issuance coordinators from various university units. This session will focus on the detailed steps of verifying and managing requests within the new system.
