Systems and Software Division

The Systems and Software Division constitutes a fundamental pillar in achieving digital transformation and automating administrative systems at the University of Mosul, in pursuit of keeping pace with the rapid technological advancements worldwide. The section is responsible for designing and developing the necessary software to manage the university and its subsidiary systems, as well as maintaining and continuously updating them to ensure smooth digital workflow, enhance productivity, and deliver distinguished services that meet the aspirations of the university and its system users. Beyond its internal role, the section also contributes to community development by supporting digital transformation efforts outside the university through providing software expertise to other governmental departments, thereby aiding the advancement of automation in the city of Mosul.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the needs of university departments and translating them into effective software solutions.

  • Analyzing, designing, and developing university-specific systems and software.

  • Maintaining and updating existing systems.

  • Organizing workshops, documenting systems, and preparing user-friendly manuals.

  • Ensuring integration among systems and seamless data exchange.

  • Managing servers and technical infrastructure related to the systems.
