The Computer Center at the University of Mosul Concludes Workshop on the Launch of the Vehicle Entry Badge and Card Issuance System

On Monday, August 11, 2025, the Computer Center at the University of Mosul concluded a two-day specialized workshop held in the Multimedia Language Laboratory, focused on preparing for the launch of the vehicle entry badge and card issuance system within the university campus.

The final day of the workshop was attended by representatives responsible for managing badge issuance across various university departments. Assistant Chief Programmer Mr. Laith Jasem Mohammed conducted a hands-on training session on how to verify and manage badge applications using the new system. He was joined by Assistant Programmer Mr. Mohammed Nawfal Abdulrahman and Lecturer Ms. Ansam Osama Abdulmajeed.

The program included a comprehensive explanation of the steps involved in receiving, reviewing, and approving applications across different categories, in addition to presenting system-generated reports and follow-up mechanisms. The closing session also featured an open discussion, where participants exchanged feedback and suggestions with the development team to enhance the system’s efficiency and ensure timely processing of requests.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the Director of the Computer Center expressed his appreciation to the University Presidency’s Follow-Up Department and all participants for their engagement and contributions to the success of the program. He emphasized that this system represents a significant step toward digital transformation and the streamlining of administrative procedures at the University of Mosul.
