The Center for Continuing Education was established in 2017, drawing upon three decades of experience and training expertise that constituted the legacy of the Center for the Development of Teaching Methods and University Training, which was the third center of its kind among Iraqi universities.

The Center for Continuing Education has adopted a training-oriented approach based on a developmental vision aimed at enhancing the capacities of the University of Mosul’s staff and equipping them with the skills required to ensure continuous improvement in their professional and functional performance. The Center also extends its training programs to employees of various governmental departments across the governorate, pursuing the same objectives and contributing to the enhancement of the quality of services provided.

These efforts are guided by a rigorous and well-founded scientific vision. Administratively, the Center comprises four divisions and three units, which constitute its organizational structure
