  College of Dentistry discussed M.Sc. thesis entitled ‘‘Comparing the Effect of Vitamin C Solution in Different Doses on Skin Wound Healing in Rabbits”, on Sunday, May 11, 2025. forwarded by Mohammed Noaman Omar. The study compared the effect of various concentrations of Vitamin C solution on the healing of intentionally induced skin wounds in rabbits by histological examination and the expression of the MMP-9 marker in the wound healing area. It was concluded by the study that topical application of vitamin C solution can greatly enhance the secondary wound healing and using the higher concentration (10%) resulted in better outcomes.
