The Governmental Communication and Media Unit is considered one of the independent units within the Department of Dormitory Affairs. This unit is responsible for drafting news articles and covering events and activities taking place within the student dormitories. These materials are then published on the official university website and on the official social media pages.

In addition to its media-related tasks, the unit also facilitates communication by providing necessary tools such as digital links and QR (Quick Response) codes. These tools are used to streamline access to student notifications, maintenance requests, and service-related needs within the dormitories.

The unit operates directly under the guidance and instructions of the Head of the Department of Dormitory Affairs, due to its direct affiliation with his office. This organizational structure ensures the timely execution of assigned duties and the rapid dissemination of information related to service updates and current conditions within the dormitory system.

Furthermore, the unit is responsible for developing digital platforms that document and present achievements made within the dormitory department. These are reported according to a structured weekly reporting mechanism dedicated to monitoring and improving dormitory performance.
