Important Announcement from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq announces the adoption of the international English language exam (IELTS) as a mandatory requirement for admission to postgraduate studies (Master’s and PhD) within Iraq for the academic year 2024–2025.
This decision applies to a number of specific academic fields determined by the Ministry, and obtaining an IELTS certificate with a minimum required score is now a prerequisite for applying to postgraduate programs in those fields.
