Central Library

Under a direct patronage of the President of the University of Mosul ,prof . Qusay Al-Amadi and on Monday ,May 6,2019 the Central Library organized a lecture ,on one of the College of Science halls, titled :”prof. Najman’s experience with books and writing – talk and dialogue with the public “ in recognition of the library’s pioneering role in the interest of everything cultural and creative . prof. Najman yassin , the famous Mosul writer and historian ,gave his lecture concerning his journey with the world of writing from his early childhood until he got his fame in literature and history . he talked about the peaceful coexistence of the humane society of Mosul that had clear imprints in his writings . He express his deep sorrow and grief at the destruction of the library and its contents caused by ISIS expressing his desire to donate copies of his personal library to contribute to the service of researchers at the University of Mosul .
