Central Library

On Monday, June 3, 2019, Dr. Khawla Mohammad Wafiq Al-Shaikh, a retired pharmacist, presented the Central Library with her personal collection of books and periodicals in different branches of humanities and applied sciences in Arabic and English languages. As an academic figure, she contributed to the reviving of the Central Library at the University of Mosul. She donated her personal library of books and periodicals which she collected over half a century and considered it one of her most important personal treasures. The coordination, cooperation and communication among Dr. Khawla, Mr. Safwan Al-Madani (a member in the committee of the Reading Festival in Mosul), and Professor Omar Tawfiq Abdulqadir (the Secretary General of the Central Library), facilitated the dedication of the books and periodicals to the Central Library to be accessible to all the students and researchers and for scientific and research movement service in our dear university.
