Central Library

On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, the Department of Biology in the Collage of Education for Pure Sciences (Ibn Al-Haytham), University of Baghdad presented (3000) books and periodicals to the Central Library. Dr. Sahla Qalander, a teacher in the same department, and Dr. Bassam Qalander, the scientific supervisor in the Ministry of Youth and Sports / Mosul Branch, supervised and organized this campaign and participated in the delivery of the books and periodicals to the Central Library. The teachers, employees, undergraduates, postgraduates and even the retired employees, and the relatives of some of deceased employees at the University of Baghdad participated in this campaign to contribute to revive our library to serve the scientific and research movement at the University of Mosul, to activate the principle of the scientific and cognitive cooperation among Iraqi universities and to strengthen the spirit of citizenship and the peaceful coexistence among Iraqis
