Central Library

On Monday, 17/6/2019, Professor Omar Tawfiq Abdulqadir, the Secretary General of the libraries of the University of Mosul, visited Ibn Khaldun Central Library to look at the library in its new style after the finishing of its reconstruction adopted by the UNDP, funded by Germany and supervised by Iraqi government. Mr. Omar expressed his happiness with this remarkable achievement that will restore the library’s scientific and cognitive role. He praised the staff of the library for their efforts in following up the works of the reconstruction and promised to provide it with a specialized staff to classify and catalogue all the recently donated books and periodicals to be to be ready for reading by the users as soon as possible
