On Monday, June 3, 2019, Dr. Khawla Mohammad Wafiq Al-Shaikh, a retired pharmacist, presented the Central Library with her personal collection of books and periodicals in different branches of humanities and applied sciences in Arabic and English languages. As an academic figure, she contributed to the reviving of the Central Library at the University of Mosul. She donated her personal library of books and periodicals which she collected over half a century and considered it one of her most important personal treasures.
