On Monday, July 29, 2019, Dr. Akram Mahmood, Assistant President of Mosul University for Scientific affairs, accompanied by Dr. Safa’uddin Abdullah, Dean of the College of Basic Education, visited Ibn Khaldun Library in the second campus to take a look at the workflows after completing its reconstructions. During their visit, Mr. Akram Hussein Yunus, the Director of Ibn Khaldun Library Administration, briefed them on the work of the library. They were pleased with the return of the library in its new form after the destruction caused by the terrorist ISIS. They hoped that the library would serve pre-graduates, post-graduates, lecturers and researchers who consider it as the source of authenticated scientific information for writing their academic researchs and theses at the University of Mosul. At the end of their visit, they wished it the continuation of progress and success to catch up with the development of university libraries in the world advanced universities
