Central Library

The university order was issued to assign Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar as the Secretary-General of the Libraries, University of Mosul. He started his duties on 15/9/2019, and on 16/9/2019, he made an inspection visit to the library’s divisions and units in the three library sites: the main alternative site in the College of Engineering, the second alternative site in the College of Environment Scinces and Technologies and Ibn Khaldun Central Library in the second university campus.During his tour, he listened to a detailed explanation represented by the heads of divisions and units, which included a definition of the tasks of each division and unit as well as the most important obstacles and difficulties facing the work. He stressed the importance of overcoming all obstacles, taking all the measures that support the positive progress of the work of libraries, through the implementation of the directives of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady President, University of Mosul, that support the achievement of objectives and upgrade the libraries of the university being monuments of science and knowledge and the symbols of the University of Mosul.
