The Central Library receives the personal library of Mr. Ghanim Hamid Qubua.
On Sunday, September 22, 2019, and according to the directives of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady to establish cooperative relations and strengthen the bonds between our university and the community and within the contributions of the Mosuli figures to rehabilitate the Central Library at the University of Mosul, our library received the personal library of Mr. Ghanim Hamid Qubua which consists of (174) books and (589) parts in different humanitarian and scientific specialties, to serve the students and researchers at our great university. During his supervision on the process of receiving the collection of books, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the Secretary-General of the libraries of the University of Mosul, expressed the library administration appreciation to Mr. Ghanim and his family for their great scientific and humanitarian initiative that demonstrates the love and appreciation of Mosul families for the Central Library as a symbol of their city and the University of Mosul, to return the library to its previous era as a monument of science and knowledge by the efforts of all good people of Mosul.
