Creative Girl Donates a Painting of the Central Library of University of Mosul

On Tuesday, 29 October 2019, Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President, University of Mosul, received a creative activist, Aya Walid, who donated a painting representing the Central Library as a symbol of the University of Mosul. In her paintings, she emphasizes the symbolism of the topics she addressed in her exhibitions she held previously. Mr. President of the University of Mosul praised her efforts and determination to overcome all the obstacles and difficulties stand on her way and employ them in the service of society. Aya expressed her happiness with this important meeting that involves great human values. At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Al-Ahmady confirmed that such a spirit and this impulse would inevitably have a bright future. It is worth mentioning that during her visit, she was accompanied by Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the Libraries, University of Mosul, who expressed the General Secretariat’s appreciation for the University President’s continuous support and to the creative Aya who documented the story of the Central Library that is one of the most important symbols of the University of Mosul.
