The Central Library Continues Efforts to Develop the Various Skills of its Staff
Based on the plan to promote the state of the University of Mosul, confirmed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President, University of Mosul, and under the continued guidance of Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the Libraries, University of Mosul, Ms. Zeena Tarik, Lecturer and Official of the Continuing Education Division, Central Library, held and directed an extensive meeting at Ibn Khaldun Library on Monday, 28 October 2019. The technical staff of Ibn Khaldun Library attended the meeting. It was agreed to implement the steps of the plan set by the General Secretariat of the University Libraries to develop the skills of the staff of Ibn Khaldun Library technically, in the fields of cataloging and classification in particular. During the meeting, all the inquiries raised by the attendants have been answered. After that, a tour among the shelves of the library has been made by the technical staff to make sure that the books placed on them were classified in the right way technically to be accessible to the borrowers at the start of the university new academic year 2019/2020.
